Cozy lodging, a full-course homemade meal, and a hot shower will be waiting for you at the end of each day. We are geared for the experienced hunter and fisherman who wants the full Alaskan experience, but doesn't need or want the extra expense of a guide. We supply a new warm cabin, amazing home-style meals, top of the line boats and gear, and the best self-guided experience offered. You only need to bring an appetite for your Alaska Adventure!
If you’ve ever dreamed of hunting Prince of Wales Island, here’s your chance! POW is known as the premier island in Alaska for coastal black bears. Guests will have use of a skiff and access to miles of shoreline to glass and hunt. Hunting in May and June can be done by cruising the shoreline looking for bears foraging for food or a mate (bears breed in spring). Although skiffs are a great way to hunt, most guests prefer a vehicle for cruising logging roads and spotting clearcuts. A vehicle will be provided for each group. Guests are welcome to fish from their skiff if they choose.
